2010

A little belated, but Happy New Year!! Amazing that it's 2010 already - a year (I'm hoping) filled with even greater, more innovative and stylin' new green products - and hopefully a fresh start for everyone to try and be better, learn more and do more.

It's always hard when another year rolls around and we find that all the things we set out to accomplish are often only partially done, or not even attempted at all, and goals to be healthier or more successful or more patient or more anything are still far from being done, but this is also a great time to remind ourselves that most things are always works in progress. A beautiful home doesn't become beautiful in one day, and neither does a beautiful person, inside or out. And hopefully, in our efforts to improve our lives, we won't forget that we have to improve the world around us too. Even if it means a little extra work, remembering to recycle, to donate, to reuse, to buy green, to buy local, and to learn about what's going on in the world around us, it's worth it - because self improvement can only go so far if the world we live in isn't getting better along with us.

For my part, I hope to find the energy, strength and will to continue on all the things I've started - and not only help myself, but help others along the way, and just maybe, inspire a little more green living...
